2021 Envirothon Virtual Competition
The Area competition will be held in March and will be a multiple choice test. Schools will be competing against other schools in Area 1 (just like in the past). A percentage (depending on how many total teams participate) will move on to State. The state competition will be the second week in June. Details are still being worked out but will probably include another multiple choice test as well as a presentation/video component. The 1st place team will then be invited to Nationals. Going virtual presents its own challenges but also presents an opportunity for those who have participated. There is now no cost, no bussing issues, and shouldn't interfere with other testing. Schools have a week window to complete the test. |
