Fingerling Fish Sale & Pond ClinicFingerling fish sales are offered for landowners who need to stock farm ponds. Look for sales and clinics in the spring.
The spring pre-order fish sale is January - April with pick-up at the end of April, beginning of May. Election of SupervisorsThe Wood Soil & Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors election was August 19 through September 17, 2022 in conjunction with the Wood County Ag-Venture event. Dylan Baer and Marc Schaller were elected to each serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2023.
The Wood SWCD Board of Supervisors is comprised of five volunteer members elected in special election by county residents and landowners. Each member serves a three-year term. |

The Wood Soil and Water Conservation District is out and about in the community offering programs to children and adults on nutrient management, soil health, water quality, pollinators, native plants, agriculture, and a host of topics conservation practices for farmland as well as residential lots. Look for us at the Wood County Fair, in a classroom, or out in a field.
