In an effort to reduce soil erosion as well as provide landowners an opportunity to experiment with new technology in conservation tillage equipment, the district offers the tools shown below for rent.
	Phillips Harrow—Residue management tool designed for spring use prior to planting. The tool lifts and fluffs residue promoting warming and drying of the seedbed. Other benefits include surface blending of chemicals/fertilizers and control of small weeds. Rental terms: $2 per acre

	Salford RTS (Residue Tillage Specialist) is the ideal tool for today's High Residue Farming Methods. Cut and distribute crop reside while warming the soil to a shallow depth to create an ideal seedbed. The patented COIL TECH Coulters are designed for high speed and low maintenance, the most durable coulter system available! Rental terms: 1-50 acres, $8:00 per acre; 51-100 acres $7.00 per acre; 101+ acres $6.00 per acre
