strips, open ditches, animal waste storage facilities, and windbreaks.
P Consulting assistance for subsurface drainage and pond design.
P Annual fish sale for pond stocking.
P Annual seedling sale for establishment of wildlife areas and windbreaks.
P School programs, field days, tours, pond clinics, and conservation talks to farm & civic
organizations.
P Educator workshops: Project Learning Tree, Project WET, and others.
P Technical assistance and rental of conservation tillage equipment.
P Assistance on open ditch projects and Senate Bill 160 projects.
POLICY
The District provides services to individuals, groups of individuals, units of government
and others who request assistance.
The relationship between the district and any request for assistance is a cooperative one.
It is our hope that we can give those that we work with the desire to use our natural
resources wisely and manage them for future generations.
